Terms and Conditions for AG Care Users

Welcome to AG Care, a comprehensive Hospital and Patient Management platform. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including our website (agcare.co.za), mobile applications, and other related services provided by AG Care (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Definitions
- “AG Care” refers to the Hospital and Patient Management platform and its associated services.
- “Users” refer to all individuals and entities who access or use our Services, including medical staff and patients.
- “Medical Staff” refers to doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals who use the Services.
- “Patients” refers to individuals who receive healthcare services and use the platform for managing their health information.
2. Eligibility
- To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
- Medical Staff must have the necessary qualifications and licenses to provide healthcare services as required by applicable laws and regulations.
3. User Accounts
- Registration: Users must create an account to access certain features of the Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Use of Services
- Permitted Use: You may use the Services for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these Terms. Medical Staff may use the Services to manage patient information, schedule appointments, and perform other healthcare-related activities. Patients may use the Services to access their health information, communicate with medical staff, and manage appointments.
- Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the Services:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate AG Care, an AG Care employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
- To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Services, or which, as determined by us, may harm AG Care or users of the Services, or expose them to liability.
5. User Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of all content you submit, post, or display on or through the Services (“User Content”).
- License: By submitting User Content, you grant AG Care a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, perform, and distribute your User Content solely for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and using the Services.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize the use of your User Content as described in these Terms.
6. Privacy
- Privacy Policy: Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
